Nandolle Farmhouse is typical of the buildings which are to be found in the Perigord Blanc area of the Northern Dordogne, so named because of the chalky limestone formations found in the fields. The general effect is similar to the Cotswolds in the UK, except that the Northern Dordogne area reflects more light, producing startling contrasts within the greenery of the rolling countryside.

There is an 18 hole mini-golf course, also fishing, rowing boats and guided walks all within 10 minutes drive. Canoeing, horse riding, tennis, 18 hole and 9 hole golf also available all within 40 minutes drive of the property.
